| The nearest airfield to Basingstoke is Lasham Airfield, near Herriard on the A339 road to Alton. It is used mainly by Glider aircraft and is owned by the Glider Heritage Centre. There is also a servicing facility for airliners. The Museum of Gliding is open there on a Sunday at 2pm. |
